Preliminary Procedure

Remove the radiator air lower baffle and deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Lower Baffle and Deflector Replacement.

Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.

    2. Object Number: 1465810 Size: MH
  2. Remove the screws (1) and integral snaps (2) from the left and the right side of the air dam.
  3. Remove the left and the right side of the air dam from the fascia.

    4. Object Number: 1465856 Size: SH
  4. Remove the center engine splash shield and center air dam as an assembly, removing the push in retainers first, then the screws.
  5. Remove the air dam from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the air dam to the vehicle.

    2. Object Number: 1465810 Size: MH
  2. Install the left and the right side of the air dam to fascia.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the screws (1) and push-in retainers to the left and the right side of the center engine splash shield and the air dam.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 10 N·m (89 lb in).


    Object Number: 1465856 Size: SH
  4. Install the center engine splash shield, the air dam screws and the integral snaps.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Lower the vehicle.
