This PI has been revised to include the new TIS-2000 update and 2007 Model Year. Please discard PIC3930.
The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
On a 3.9L LZ9 engine vehicle (manual transmission) you may have a NO crank condition after replacing the ECM, or the clutch pedal assembly (including position sensor). This condition could also be accompanied with a code P0806 stored in the ECM.
Recommendation/Instructions:
After ECM, or clutch pedal assembly (including position sensor) replacement on a (3.9L LZ9) manual transmission vehicle, you MUST relearn the Clutch Pedal Position. Be sure to have your Tech 2 updated to 26.005 or higher.

Important: Make sure you look for an updated calibration in TIS-2000 for this also, it will normally be called
"New calibration with diagnostic enhancements for DTC P0806 which can result in a no crank situation."Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
