Preliminary Procedure Open the rear compartment. Remove the pump access cover.
1	Folding Top Pump Bypass Valve Tip Open the pump bypass valve. Turn the hydraulic pump bypass valve counterclockwise until the pressure is released. Wait 5 minutes before starting any work on the folding top. Inspect the fluid level and add fluid as needed. Refer to Folding Top Fluid Addition . When the repair is completed, turn the pump bypass valve clockwise until tight.

Tip

Open the pump bypass valve. Turn the hydraulic pump bypass valve counterclockwise until the pressure is released.
Wait 5 minutes before starting any work on the folding top.
Inspect the fluid level and add fluid as needed. Refer to Folding Top Fluid Addition .
When the repair is completed, turn the pump bypass valve clockwise until tight.
