This PI was revised to change the wording from Select "USA" to Select "Country". Please discard PIC4069.

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

The Afterblow enabling procedure in SI (for the above products) is incorrect at this time.

To enable the Afterblow function (Manual or Auto HVAC systems) please follow the below pathing:

1. Make sure your Tech 2 is on software version 26.004 or higher.
2. With the CANdi module installed on the Tech 2 build the correct model year and body style.
3. Navigate to the following Computer/Integrating Systems " Pick the Engine type " Other " Module Setup " Body Control Module " BCM Setup " Unable to program VIN/Odometer controller is locked > Would you like to configure options only? > Yes > Continue > "Select Country" Save options > Put a Asterisks " * " next to the Afterblow option and save options > Continue to the next page and make sure to save options > New BCM setup is complete.

This will now enable the Afterblow on your vehicle.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
