During removal of the inside door handle, damage may occur to the inside door handle cap that covers the door handle retaining screw.
The door handle cap is hinged at the rear and can be removed by inserting a pick at the forward edge of the cover and prying outward. Refer to the arrow in the illustration above.
If the cap is damaged, a new one can be purchased through GMSPO.
