Condition
Some of the subject vehicles may exhibit a slight engine idle RPM flare if all
of the following conditions are met:
| • | transmission shifted quickly |
| • | accelerator depressed quickly |
| • | accelerator released quickly |
Correction
Reprogram the PCM using a Tech 2 scan tool with the calibration update from
Techline Information System (TIS) 2000 data version 9.75 or later, broadcast to dealers
on September 26, 2004; and on TIS CD-ROM version 10 for 2004, scheduled for mailing
to dealers by October 18, 2004.
