Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2009 🢒 G5 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 2.2L or 2.4L 🢒 Powertrain Mount Balance - Lower Mount

    Note: Follow the balance procedure steps listed below. Powertrain mounts must be tightened in sequence.

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Loosen the front transaxle mount through bolt.

    3. Object Number: 1647340 Size: SH
  3. Loosen the rear transaxle mount through bolt.
  4. Shake the powertrain vigorously from front to rear and allow the powertrain to settle.

    5. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  5. Tighten the rear transaxle mount through bolt to 100 N·m (74 lb ft).

    6. Object Number: 1647337 Size: SH
  6. Tighten the front transaxle mount through bolt to 100 N·m (74 lb ft).
  7. Lower the vehicle.
