Did you perform the Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) Check?

Go to Daytime Running Lights (DRL) System Check

  1. Engage the parking brake.
  2. Using a J 39200 , backprobe the DRL control module from cavity 3 to B+.
  3. Measure the voltage.

Is the voltage greater than the specified value?

B+

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 3

Inspect for an open in the PPL or the RED/YEL wire between the DRL control module and the parking brake switch.

Is the connection OK?

Replace the parking brake switch. Refer to Park Brake Lever Assembly Replacement in Park Brake.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the DRL control module. Refer to Daytime Running Lights (DRL) Control Module Replacement .
