- Correct battery installation.
- Correct battery terminal installation.
- Correct battery cable installation.
- Clean and tight ground connections.
- Excessive battery terminal corrosion.
- Cracking or other damage.
- Correct battery voltage.
- The battery hydrometer for a green dot.
- The generator wiring for damage or poor connections.
- The generator mounting bolts for correct torque.
- The generator drive belt for correct installation.

• | The battery terminals are installed correctly. |
• | The battery cables are installed correctly. |
• | The ground connections are clean and tight. |
• | The battery terminals are clean and tight. |
• | The battery is not physically damaged. |
• | Battery voltage is 11.5-13.0 volts. |
• | The battery hydrometer displays a green dot. |
• | The wiring is in serviceable condition. |

• | Clean, tighten or repair the wiring and connections as necessary.
