Removal Procedure

  1. Place a protective barrier over the nearby trim and paint.

  2. Object Number: 407756  Size: SH
  3. Remove bolt (2) from the base of the rear seat cushions (1).

  4. Object Number: 407766  Size: SH
  5. Remove rear seat cushion by pulling upward and forward.
  6. Remove rear seat cushion from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 407766  Size: SH
  1. Install the rear seat cushions into the vehicle.
  2. Insert rear edge of seat into the cavity, pushing in and downward.

  3. Object Number: 407756  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the bolt (2) to the base  (1) of the rear seat cushion .
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  6. Remove the protective barrier from the nearby trim and paint.
