Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 208241 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .

    2. Object Number: 211587 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the positive battery cable bolt.

    3. Object Number: 43660 Size: SH
  3. Remove the battery hold down retainer bolt.
  4. Remove the battery hold down retainer.

    5. Object Number: 221643 Size: SH
  5. Remove the battery from the battery tray/coolant recovery reservoir.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 221643 Size: SH
  1. Install the battery to the battery tray/coolant recovery reservoir.

    2. Object Number: 43660 Size: SH
  2. Install the battery hold down retainer.
  3. Install the battery hold down retainer bolt.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the battery hold down retainer bolt to 18 N·m (13 lb ft).


    Object Number: 211587 Size: SH
  4. Connect the positive battery cable bolt.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the positive battery cable bolt to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).

  5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
