Check the fluid level in the clutch master cylinder reservoir.

Is the fluid level OK?

Fill the master cylinder reservoir to the required level.

Is the clutch system OK?

Check for a burst or a leaking hydraulic line.

Is the hydraulic line OK?

Replace the clutch hydraulic line and master cylinder. Refer to Clutch Master Cylinder Replacement .

Check for hydraulic fluid in the master cylinder dust cover area.

Is there fluid in the dust cover?

Replace the clutch hydraulic line and master cylinder. Refer to Clutch Master Cylinder Replacement .

Check for a rising hydraulic fluid level in the master cylinder reservoir.

Does the fluid level rise when the clutch pedal is depressed?
