Removal Procedure
- Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Remove the transmission support. Refer to Transmission Support Replacement in Frame and Underbody.
- Slowly lower the transmission.
- Remove the ventilation hose from the ventilation tube at the transmission.
- Remove the ventilation hose clips from the torque arm.
- Remove the ventilation hose from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Install the ventilation hose to the vehicle.
- Install the first vent hose clip 100 mm (4 inch) behind the rear edge of the torque arm bracket.
- Install the lower vent hose clip onto the bottom edge of the torque arm.
- Install the vent hose to the transmission ventilation tube at the transmission.
- Install the transmission support member. Refer to Transmission Support Replacement in Frame and Underbody.
- Remove the transmission jack.
- Lower the vehicle.
