Cooling System Overheating
- If overheating occurs due to prolonged idling in gear, instruct the operator on driving techniques which would reduce the possibility of engine overheating:
- If none of the above conditions apply, refer to Cold Engine, Slow Warm-Up, Not Enough Heat Cold Engine, Slow Warm-Up, Not Enough Heat .
| • | Idle in neutral as much as possible and raise engine RPM using accelerator pedal. |
| • | Turn air conditioning off during extended idling. |
