The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some 2005 Pontiac Bonneville SLE built prior to 04/07/05 may have a concern of fog lamp bulbs that burn out prematurely.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Replace the forward lamp harness using the following part numbers.
Vehicles equipped with Manual HVAC use part number 15296839.
Vehicles equipped with Automatic HVAC use part number 15296838
TSB 05-08-42-013 can be used for detailed harness replacement instructions.
Note: Follow TSB 05-08-42-013 completely when servicing a Bonneville GXP with this condition.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
