Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle?

Go to Step 2

Verify the fault is present.

Does the system operate normally?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Go to Step 3

Test the reset signal circuit of the accessory inflator switch for the following:

    • An open
    • A short to ground
    • A short to voltage
    • High resistance

Refer to Circuit Testing , Testing for Short to Ground , Testing for a Short to Voltage , and Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 4

Test the ground circuit of the accessory inflator switch for the following:

    • An open
    • A short to ground
    • A short to voltage
    • High resistance

Refer to Circuit Testing , Testing for Short to Ground , Testing for a Short to Voltage , and Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 7

Inspect for poor connections at the harness connector of the accessory inflator switch.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 7

Replace the accessory inflator switch. Refer to Automatic Level Control Inflator Air Switch Replacement .

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
