8.1. | Tilt the motor end of the window regulator to the forward end of the door. |
8.2. | Tilt the top of the regulator toward the lower rear corner of the door. |
8.3. | Remove the regulator through the front access hole in the door panel. |
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners in this order, (1, 3, 2)
to 9 N·m (80 lb in).
Important: Start the vehicle to ensure maximum power to the window motor. This is required to fully seat the window for adjustment.
Tighten
Tighten the window retainer clamp fasteners to 11 N·m (95 lb in).
