Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 639144 Size: SH
  1. Remove the ignition lock cylinder. Refer to Ignition Switch Lock Cylinder Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  2. Remove the reader/exciter from the ignition lock cylinder housing (4).
    3. • Release the clips (1,2)
    • Slide the reader/exciter off the lock cylinder. Clip (2) may tend to catch on the illumination ring and need to be unhooked.

Installation Procedure

  1. Slide the reader/exciter onto the ignition lock cylinder housing (4).
  2. Install the ignition lock cylinder. Refer to Ignition Switch Lock Cylinder Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
