J 41352 Modular Column Holding Fixature

1. The turn signal switch assembly must be in the "UP" position.

Important: The column must be in the 12 o'clock position.

To align the steering shaft assembly to the 12 o'clock position. Turn the key to the off/lock position. Pull the key out and turn the steering shaft untill you hear a click.



2. Put the steering column in J 41352
3. Pop the wire harness assembly out of the wire harness strap (1).
4. Check steering column for accident damage. Refer to Steering Column Accident Damage Inspection - Off Vehicle



5. Remove the SIR connector (1) from the fused jumper assembly connector (2).



6. Remove the retaining ring.



7. Remove the wire protector.
8. Remove the SIR coil assembly. Let the SIR coil assembly hang freely.
9. To remove the SIR coil assembly completely refer to the upper tilt head component assembly Turn Signal Cancel Cam and Upper Bearing Inner Race - Disassemble - Off Vehicle



10. Remove the wave washer.
