This vehicle is equipped with two air tubes:
• | Vehicles w/o optional air inflator |
1. | An air tube is routed from the pressure limiter valve (connected
to the air dryer) to a tee in the crossover air tube. |
2. | The crossover air tube is routed between the two rear struts. |
• | Vehicles w/optional air inflator |
1. | An air tube is routed from the pressure limiter valve (connected
to the air dryer) to one of the air inflator valve air tubes. |
2. | The second air tube, referred to as the crossover air tube, is
routed between the two rear struts. A tee in the crossover air tube connects
the crossover air tube to one of the air inflator air tubes. |
At the pressure limiter valve, the air tube connector is held on with
a spring clip which snaps into the groove of the pressure limiter valve. At
the rear struts, the air tube connectors are held on with spring clips which
snap into the grooves of the strut air fittings. Air tube connectors are sealed
using two O-rings.
Although the tubes are flexible, care should be taken not to kink them
and to keep them from contacting the exhaust system.
