The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in the PI.
Condition/Concern:
Step 2 and 3 of Campaign 05014 instructs the technician to remove and replace ignition relay 60. Relay 60 is the cooling fan 2 relay and should not be replaced.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Remove and replace ignition relay 59 on vehicles equipped with a 3.4 liter engine RPO LA1 or relay 62 on vehicles equipped with a 3.6 liter RPO LY7. Refer to eSI Document ID # 1407332 for location if needed.
Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
