Hose Clamp Pliers
Removal Procedure
Drain the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
.
Reposition the hose clamp at the radiator using the
J 38185
.
Disconnect the radiator inlet hose from the radiator.
Reposition the hose clamp at the thermostat housing using the
J 38185
.
Disconnect the radiator inlet hose from the thermostat housing.
Remove the radiator inlet hose.
Installation Procedure
Install the radiator inlet hose.
Connect the radiator inlet hose to the radiator.
Reposition the hose clamp at the radiator to secure the hose using the
J 38185
.
Connect the radiator inlet hose to the thermostat housing.
Reposition the hose clamp at the thermostat housing to secure the hose using the
J 38185
.
Fill the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
.

Disconnect the radiator inlet hose from the engine.
Remove the radiator inlet hose.
Installation Procedure
Install the radiator inlet hose.
Connect the radiator inlet hose to the radiator.
Using
J 38185
, reposition the hose clamp at the radiator to secure the hose.
Connect the radiator inlet hose to the engine.
Using
J 38185
, reposition the hose clamp at the engine to secure the hose.
Fill the cooling system. Refer to
