2	Verify that the door ajar indicator always on fault is present. Does the door ajar indicator operate normally?	Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems	Go to Step 3
3	Install a scan tool. Close all the doors. With a scan tool, observe the door ajar switches parameter in the Body Control Module data list. Does the scan tool display Inactive?	Go to Step 4	Go to Step 5
4	Close all the doors. With a scan tool, observe the driver door open sw,. the passenger door open sw. and the rear door open switch parameters in the Body Control Module data list. Does the scan tool display Inactive?	Go to Step 7	Go to Step 6
5	Test the door ajar switch signal circuit for a short to ground. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems. Did you find and correct the condition?	Go to Step 11	Go to Step 8
6	Test the appropriate door open switch signal circuit for a short to ground. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems. Did you find and correct the condition?	Go to Step 11	Go to Step 8
7	Inspect for poor connections at the harness connector of the instrument panel cluster. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems. Did you find and correct the condition?	Go to Step 11	Go to Step 9
8	Inspect for poor connections at the harness connectors of the appropriate door ajar switches. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems. Did you find and correct the condition?	Go to Step 11	Go to Step 10
9	Replace the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console. Did you complete the replacement?	Go to Step 11	--
