Important: Protect the applique with heavy material tape in order to avoid damaging the underlying paint finish or applique. Do not use a pointed or a sharp instrument for the removal of the applique.

1. Remove the rear door window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .



2. Remove the center of the rivets using a center punch.



3. Drill out the rivets from the frame applique.



4. Remove the frame applique from the rear door.

1. Install the frame applique to the rear door.



2. Install the new rivets to the rear door applique.
3. Install the outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
