1986 6000 STE
--------- The radio in the 1986 6000 STE remains on (audio is slight), the power antenna remains up, and the battery may become drained.
----- The condition is caused by the radio internal power-up relay contacts remaining closed.
---------- The radio can be shut off by either cycling the ignition "off" and go on" several times or by cycling the radio power button several times. Have the radio serviced by an authorized Delco Electronics Service Center as soon as possible.
Radios built after V.I.N. G9247348 (November 15, 1985) have been corrected. These radios are identified with a pink dot by the radio serial number and a white/pink dot by the date code on the radio heat sink.
