THE NEW WIPER ARM PROVIDES BETTER RETENTION OF THE WIPER ARM TO THE SPLINED TRANSMISSION SHAFT END. WHEN PERFORMING ANY SERVICE OPERATION THAT INVOLVES REMOVAL OF THE WIPER ARMS, THE WIPER ARMS SHOULD BE REPLACED IF THEY ARE NOT THE SLIDING LATCH TYPE (REFER TO ILLUSTRATION).
