Removal Procedure
This vehicle is equipped with a 2-piece sunroof sunshade. The
sunroof sunshade is serviced as a complete set, including both the front and
the rear sunshades.
- Remove the sunroof window.

- Slide both the front and the rear sunshade forward (closed).
- Beginning with the rear half of the sunshade, position the sunshade
to the back half of the sunroof opening.
The front edge of the rear sunshade should be just behind the sunshade
stop.
- Push the rear sunshade to one side.
- Carefully bow the center of the sunshade upwards in order to allow
the opposite side to lift out the sunshade channel.
- Remove the rear half of the sunshade from the sunroof module.
- Slide the front half of the sunshade rearward.
- Position the front half of the sunshade so that the front edge
is just behind the sunshade stop.
- Push the front sunshade to one side.
- Carefully bow the center of the sunshade upwards in order to allow
the opposite side to lift out of the sunshade channel.
- Remove the front half of the sunshade from the sunroof module.
Installation Procedure
- Install the front half
of the sunshade to the sunroof module.
Ensure that the front edge of the front sunshade is just behind the
sunshade stop.
- Insert one side of the sunshade into the sunshade channel.
- Carefully bow the center of the sunshade upwards in order to allow
the opposite side to drop into the sunshade channel.
- Slide the front sunshade forward.
- Install the rear sunshade to the sunroof module.
Ensure that the front edge of the rear sunshade is just behind the sunshade
stop.
- Insert one side of the sunshade into the sunshade channel.
- Carefully bow the center of the sunshade upwards in order to allow
the opposite side to drop into the sunshade channel.
- Install the sunroof window. Refer to
Sunroof Replacement
.
- Check to ensure that the sunshade does not bind in the channel.
