Was the entire HVAC System Check performed?

  1. Place the ignition switch in the RUN position.
  2. Place the rear window wiper/washer and multi-function switch to position 3.
  3. With a test light, backprobe the auxiliary blower motor between terminals B and A.

Is the test light on?

--

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

Replace the auxiliary blower motor. Refer to Auxiliary Blower Motor and Fan Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Step 11

With a test light, backprobe the auxiliary blower motor between terminal B and ground.

Is the test light on?

--

Go to Step 5

Connect a test light between the rear window wiper/washer and multi-function switch connector C2 terminal B and B+.

Is the test light on?

Go to Step 7

Repair the poor connection or open in CKT 641.

Is the repair complete?

Repair the poor connection or open in CKT 1052 between the auxiliary blower motor terminal A and S343.

Is the repair complete?

Connect the test light between the rear window wiper/washer and multi-function switch connector C2 terminal E and B+.

Is test light on?

Replace the rear window wiper/washer and multi-function switch. Refer to Auxiliary Air Conditioning (A/C) Control Assembly Replacement - Front .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 11

Repair the poor connection or open in CKT 1450 between the rear window wiper/washer and multi-function switch connector C2 terminal E and S230.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 11

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Reconnect all connectors/components removed.
