Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the air cleaner cover and duct assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Element Replacement in Engine Controls.
  2. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
  3. Disconnect the wiper linkage. Refer to Wiper Motor Crank Arm Replacement in Wiper Washer Systems.

    4. Object Number: 395311 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the outlet hose (3) from the outlet pipe (4).

    5. Object Number: 392563 Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the outlet hose from the heater core.
  6. Remove the outlet hose.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the outlet hose.

    2. Object Number: 392563 Size: SH
  2. Connect the outlet hose to the heater core and position the hose clamp as indicated.

    3. Object Number: 395311 Size: SH
  3. Connect the outlet hose (3) to the outlet pipe (4).
  4. Refill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
  5. Connect the wiper linkage. Refer to Wiper Motor Crank Arm Replacement in Wiper Washer Systems.
  6. Install the air cleaner cover and dust assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Element Replacement in Engine Controls.
