Removal Procedure
Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing
any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to
the vehicle or its components.
- Disconnect the battery negative cable.

- Remove the left instrument panel insulator. Refer to
Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side
in Instrument
Panel, Gauges and Console.
- Disconnect the electrical
connector from the switch (1).
- Pull out the switch (1) in order to remove the switch (1)
from the retainer in the brake pedal bracket.
Installation Procedure
- Push in the switch (1)
in order to install the switch (1) to the retainer in the brake pedal
bracket.
- Connect the electrical connector to the switch (1).
- Adjust the cruise control release switch and the stoplamp switch.

- Install the left instrument panel insulator. Refer to

- Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to
Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
in Engine
Electrical.
