Removal Procedure
- Use a heat gun in order to heat the sliding window bumpers.
- Use a circular motion in order to apply heat for approximate 30 seconds.
- Use a flat-bladded tool in order to peel the window bumpers from the panel surface.
- Clean the body panel.
Hold the heat gun 152 mm (6 in) from the surface.
Do not damage the paint.
Use oil-free naphtha or alcohol.
Installation Procedure
- Warm the body panel with a heat lamp or a heat gun to a minimum of 21°C (70°F).
- Peel the backing from the front end of the window bumpers.
- Press the window bumpers to the body.
- Hand roll the window bumpers to the body in order to ensure proper adhesion.
Do not touch the adhesive backing.
