J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Removal

1. Open the power sliding door.
2. Use the J 38778 in order to unsnap the pillar mounted striker push-in retainers from the pillar.



3. Remove the pillar mounted electrical contacts from the pillar.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the pillar mounted striker.

1. Connect the electrical connector to the pillar mounted striker.



2. Install the pillar mounted electrical contacts to the pillar.
3. Install the push-in retainers in order to secure the pillar mounted striker to the pillar.
