  1. Turn the headlamp switch to the HEAD position on the headlamp/instrument panel (IP) dimmer switch.
  2. Turn the headlamp dimmer switch to the LOW position.
  3. Turn the fog lamp switch to the ON position.
  4. Use a test light in order to backprobe the underhood accessory junction block connector C2 terminal F5 and ground.

Did the test lamp light?

Use a test light in order to backprobe the rear window wiper/washer and the multi-function switch connector C3 terminal H and ground.

  1. Replace the underhood accessory junction block. Refer to Relay/Fuse Center Replacement
  2. Inspect the system.

Repair the following conditions in CKT 34 between the rear window wiper/washer and the multi-function switch connector C3 terminal H and the underhood accessory junction block connector C2 terminal F5:

    • A faulty connection
    • An open circuit

Repair the following conditions in CKT 1450 between the rear window wiper/washer and the multi-function switch connector C3 terminal B and G200:

    • A faulty connection
    • An open circuit

Is the repair complete?

  1. Replace the rear window wiper/washer multi-function switch. Refer to Multifunction Switch Assembly Replacement - Instrument Panel
  2. Inspect the system.
