SUBJECT: STEERING KNUCKLE NUT FASTENING TORQUE

MODEL/YEARS: 1992-93 SILHOUETTE

This bulletin revises the steering knuckle nut (305) torque specifications presently published in 1992-93 Silhouette Service Manuals and Service Manual Update Bulletin 92-U-59.

The correct steering knuckle nut (305) fastening torque for 1992-93 vehicles is 76 N-m (56 lb.ft.). Please note this change in your copy of the following Silhouette Service Manuals:

o 1992 Pages 3C-6, 7, & 1 0

o 1993 Pages 3C-6, 7, & 1 0 Pages 7A-22 & 44 (at step 11 under 'INSTALL OR CONNECT")

Please also note this change at step 11 (under "INSTALL & CONNECT,) in 1992 Service Manual Update 92-U-59. This change applies only to 1992.
