CONDITION: Partial disengagement of center roller bracket from center roller track on Silhouette vans built prior to vehicle number MT314673.
CAUSE: Excess rearward door travel.
---------- Install new center roller track P/N 10206846 which is currently available from GMSPO.
1. Prepaint center roller track.
2. Remove upper rear, quarter trim molding.
3. Remove glass to latch bolts.
4. Remove glass hinge bolts and remove glass.
5. Remove C-pillar, upper seat belt anchor bolt.
6. Remove upper armrest.
7. Remove the track cover. See the illustration below for a view of center track cover attachments.
8. Open the sliding side door and mark the location of the center roller bracket on the door side surface.
9. Use a floor jack to support the door. Pad the lower edge to protect the finish.
10. Remove the rear center roller bracket to door attaching bolts.
11. Slide the center roller bracket rearward to disengage.
12. Remove center roller track.
13. Seal mounting studs with strip caulk and install new center roller track.
14. Reinstall center roller bracket.
15. Position the bracket within the previously marked area on the door, install and tighten bolts.
16. Remove the floor jack and carefully close door to inspect for proper alignment.
17. Reinstall center roller track cover and trim.
