Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 482006 Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) trim plate fasteners (1).

    2. Object Number: 324713 Size: SH
  2. Carefully pulling rearward in order to disengage the IP trim plate (1) retaining clips.

    3. Remove the IP trim plate.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 324713 Size: SH
  1. Align the IP trim plate (1) retaining clips to the IP.

    2. Carefully push forward in order to secure the clips.

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the IP trim plate fasteners (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 1.9 N·m (17 lb in).
