Was the entire Brake Warning System Check performed?

  1. Disconnect the brake fluid level switch.
  2. Connect a test lamp between the brake fluid level switch harness connector terminal B and battery positive voltage.

Is the test lamp lit?

Go to step 3

  1. Disconnect the park brake switch.
  2. Disconnect the test lamp.
  3. Connect a test lamp between the park brake switch harness connector terminal A and battery positive voltage.

Is the test lamp lit?

Go to step 4

  1. Disconnect the body control module.
  2. Disconnect the test lamp.
  3. Connect a test lamp between the body control module harness connector C2, terminal D3 and battery positive voltage.

Is the test lamp lit?

Repair a short to ground in circuit 33 (TAN/WHT).

Is the repair complete?

Replace the brake fluid level switch.

  1. Perform the Body Control Module System Check in Body Control Systems.
  2. If no problems were found, replace the Body Control Module Replacement .
