Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the right side instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  2. Remove the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the temperature actuator.

  4. Object Number: 295333  Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the passenger temperature actuator.

  6. Object Number: 295335  Size: SH
  7. Remove the screws retaining the passenger temperature actuator.
  8. Remove the electric actuator.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 295335  Size: SH
  1. Position the temperature actuator, then align the slots in the electric actuator driver to the flats on the temperature shaft.
  2. Install the retaining screws.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the screws to the temperature actuator.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the temperature actuator screws to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

  6. Connect the electrical connector to the right temperature actuator.
  7. Install the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  8. Install the right side instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  9. Recalibrate the actuator. Refer to Actuator Recalibration .
