Makes 🢒 Oldsmobile 🢒 2001 🢒 Intrigue 🢒 HVAC 🢒 HVAC Systems - Automatic 🢒 Air Inlet Valve Actuator Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  2. Remove the right instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  3. Remove the vacuum control assembly. Refer to Vacuum Control Assembly Replacement .
  4. Disconnect the vacuum line from the recirculation actuator.
  5. Lift to release the recirculation actuator retaining tab and slide the actuator off the mounting bracket.

  6. Disconnect the vacuum actuator plunger rod from the recirculation lever and remove the recirculation actuator.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 295315 Size: SH
  1. Connect the recirculation actuator plunger rod to the recirculation door, then extend the plunger.

    2. Important: During installation, ensure that the recirculation actuator retaining tab is positioned above the mating base on the HVAC module case.

  2. Push the vacuum actuator toward the HVAC module case to secure the retaining tab.

    3. Important: Ensure that the vacuum actuator pushrod is not binding on the recirculation lever.

  3. Connect the vacuum harness connector to the recirculation actuator.
  4. Install the vacuum control assembly. Refer to Vacuum Control Assembly Replacement .
  5. Install the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  6. Install the right instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
