Notice: When removing body panels, apply tape to corners of panel and adjacent surfaces to help prevent paint damage.

1. Remove the hood hinge. Refer to Hood Hinge Replacement .
2. Remove the front fender liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement .
3. Remove the washer solvent container. Refer to Windshield Washer Solvent Container Replacement in Wipers/Washer Systems.
4. Remove the rocker panel molding. Refer to Rocker Panel Molding Replacement in Exterior Trim.



5. Remove the fender to door hinge pillar bolts.



6. Remove the fender to rocker panel bolts.



7. Remove the fender to front compartment side rail bolts.



8. Remove the fender to lower engine compartment side rail bolts.
9. Remove the fender from the vehicle.

1. Install the fender to the vehicle
2. Install the fender to front compartment side rail bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the fender to front compartment side rail bolts to 6 N·m (53 lb in).




3. Install the fender to rocker panel bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the fender to rocker panel bolts to 6 N·m (53 lb in).




4. Install the fender to door hinge pillar bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the fender to door hinge pillar bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).




5. Install the fender to lower engine compartment side rail bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the fender to lower engine compartment side rail bolts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

6. Install the rocker panel molding. Refer to Rocker Panel Molding Replacement in Exterior Trim.
7. Install the washer solvent container. Refer to Windshield Washer Solvent Container Replacement in Wipers/Washer Systems.
8. Install the front fender liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement .
9. Install the hood hinge. Refer to Hood Hinge Replacement .
