  1. Disconnect the rearview mirror harness connector.
  2. Turn the ignition switch on.
  3. Step firmly on the brake pedal.
  4. Shift the transaxle gear selector lever to the REVERSE position.
  5. Using a test light, probe between the inside rearview mirror harness connector terminal 3 and ground.

Is the test light on?

  1. Disconnect the transaxle range switch connector C1.
  2. Using a test light, backprobe between the transaxle range switch connector C1 terminal B and ground.

Check circuit 24 for a poor connection or open.

Is there a poor connection or an open in circuit 24?
