Voltage is applied through the CIGAR LTR fuse at all times to the cigar lighter, accessory power receptacle and the power drop connector through circuit 2540.
The cigar lighter has a heating element that, when pushed in, completes the circuit to ground through circuit 1450, and begins to heat up. When the element is sufficiently heated, the cigar lighter opens the circuit. The accessory power receptacle will accept the accessory plug when pushed in and allow the circuit to ground through circuit 1450. The circuit will be maintained until the accessory plug is pulled out of the accessory power receptacle.
Voltage is also applied to the power drop connector through the POWER DROP fuse when the ignition switch is in accessory or on. The power drop connector can be used for a more permanent connection of an accessory. Ground will also be applied to the accessory through circuit 1450.
