  1. Disconnect the washer pump connector.
  2. Connect a J 35616-200 between terminals A and B of the pump connector.
  3. Activate the washer switch.

Is the test light on?

Go to Step 3

Check for poor connection to the washer pump.

Is a poor connection present?

Go to Step 5

Replace the washer pump. Refer to Washer Pump Replacement .

Is the replacement complete?

Repair the poor connection condition.

Connect the J 35616-200 between the washer pump connector, terminal A, and ground.

Is the test light on?

Repair the open circuit in CKT 1250.

Connect the J 35616-200 between the wiper/washer switch connector C203, terminal E, and ground.

Check for an open circuit in CKT 228.
