Removal Procedure
- Open the front floor console storage compartment lid.
- Ensure that the front cup holder is in the open position.
- Remove the screws retaining the front floor console trim plate.
- Remove the front floor console trim plate.
- Remove the bolts retaining the floor shift control trim plate.
- Raise the floor shift control trim plate slightly.
- Rotate the floor shift control indicator lamp socket counterclockwise to release from the trim plate.
- Remove the bulb from the socket.
Installation Procedure
- Install the bulb to the socket.
- Install the floor shift control indicator lamp socket to the floor shift control trim plate, then rotate the lamp socket clockwise to secure.
- Lower the floor shift control trim plate into position.
- Install the floor shift control trim plate retaining bolts.
- Install the front floor console trim plate.
- Install the front floor console trim plate retaining screws.
- Close the front cup holder.
- Close the front floor console storage compartment lid.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten
Tighten the floor shift control trim plate retaining bolts to 2 N·m
(18 lb in).
Tighten
Tighten the front floor console trim plate retaining screws to 2 N·m
(18 lb in).
