- Check the suspected backup lamp bulbs for damage or open filament.
- Check the LH or RH backup lamp connectors to be sure the harness
connector seals are not damaged or missing.

- Remove the inoperative backup lamp.
- Set the park brake.
- Shift the transaxle gear selector into REVERSE.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Connect a test light between inoperative backup lamp connector
terminal A and ground.

• | LH: Repair poor connection or open in circuit 250 between the
LH backup lamp harness connector terminal G and G401. |
• | RH: Repair a poor connection or open in circuit 350 between the
