Check the FRT PARK LPS fuse.

Is the FRT PARK LPS fuse open?

1. Check the fog lamp bulbs for damage or open filament.
2. Check the fog lamp connectors to be sure the connector seals are not damaged or missing.

Are the fog lamp bulbs and connectors OK?

Repair short to ground in circuit 9 and circuit 34.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Fog Lights System Check

--

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
2. Turn the fog lamp switch to the ON position.
3. Turn the headlamp switch to the HEAD position.
4. Turn the headlamp dimmer switch to the LOW position.
5. Using a test lamp probe between the underhood accessory wiring junction block connector C2 terminal E5 and ground.

Is the test lamp on?

Go to Step 9

Go to Step 8

Repair a poor connection or open in circuit 9 between the fuse block terminal H6 and the underhood accessory wiring junction block connector C2 terminal E5.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Fog Lights System Check

--

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
2. Turn the fog lamp switch to the ON position.
3. Turn the headlamp switch to the HEAD position.
4. Turn the headlamp dimmer switch to the LOW position.
5. Using a test lamp probe between the underhood accessory wiring junction block connector C2 terminal E5 to terminal F5.

Is the test lamp on?

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
2. Turn the fog lamp switch to the ON position.
3. Turn the headlamp switch to the HEAD position.
4. Turn the headlamp dimmer switch to the LOW position.
5. Using a test lamp probe between the underhood accessory wiring junction block connector C2 terminal F5 and ground.

Is the test lamp on?

Replace the fog lamp relay with the horn relay.

Are the fog lamps on?

Replace the underhood accessory wiring junction block. Refer to Underhood Fuse Block Replacement for service procedure.

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
2. Turn the fog lamp switch to the ON position.
3. Turn the headlamp switch to the HEAD position.
4. Turn the headlamp dimmer switch to the LOW position.
5. Using a test lamp probe between the fog lamp switch harness connector terminal E and ground.

Is the test lamp on?

5. Using a test lamp probe between the body control module (BCM) connector C1 terminal C8 and ground.
