Was the headlight system check performed?

Go to Headlight System Check

1. Check the LH low beam headlamp bulbs for damage or open filament.
2. Check the LH headlamp connector to be sure the connector seals are not damaged or missing.

Are the headlamp bulbs and connectors OK?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 8

1. Disconnect connector C141.
2. Using a test lamp probe between the LH headlamp harness connector C141 terminal H and ground.

Is the test lamp on?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 3

Repair poor connection or open in circuit 1640 between the underhood accessory wiring junction connector C3 terminal F1 and LH headlamp connector C141 terminal H.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Headlight System Check

--

1. Turn the headlamp switch to the Head position.
2. Using a test lamp, backprobe between the underhood accessory wiring junction block connector C3 terminal E11 and ground.

Is the test lamp on?

--

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 5

Repair poor connection or open in circuit 1201 between the LH headlamp harness connector C141 terminal J and the underhood accessory wiring junction block harness connector C3 terminal E11.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Headlight System Check

--

Replace the LH headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Replacement for service procedure.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Headlight System Check

--

Replace the damaged component.

Is the repair complete?
