Action

The caster is uneven or incorrect.

  1. Inspect components for wear.
  2. Perform an alignment on the vehicle. Refer to Wheel Alignment Measurement in Wheels and Tires.

The control arm is loose.

  1. Inspect the control arm. Refer to Suspension Component Inspection in Front Suspension.
  2. Replace the components as needed. Tighten the components to specifications. Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications in Front Suspension.

The brake rotors are warped.

Refinish or replace the rotors as needed. Refer to Front Brake Rotor Replacement in Disc Brakes.

The springs are broken or sagging.

  1. Inspect the broken or sagging springs. Refer to Suspension Component Inspection in Front Suspension.
  2. Repair the broken or sagging springs. Refer to Strut, Strut Component, and Spring Replacement in Front Suspension.

The wheel bearings are worn.

Replace the Front Wheel Drive Shaft Bearing. Refer to Front Wheel Drive Shaft Bearing Replacement in Front Suspension.

The brake caliper is leaking.

Service the brake calipers as needed. Refer to Front Brake Caliper Overhaul in Disc Brakes.
