The pump
mounting is loose.
| Tighten the pump mounting to specification.

The power steering gear inlet (pressure) hose is grounded
out.

- Inspect the power steering gear inlet (pressure) hose.
- Adjust the power steering gear inlet (pressure) hose for proper
mounting and correct balance. Refer to

There
is an audible noise after a power steering system check.
|
- Allow the engine compartment to cool.
- Operate the vehicle at idle.
- Ensure the vehicle reaches operating temperature.
- Listen for the noise.
