This symptom table identifies undefined DTCs which are caused by an internal malfunction in the EBTCM.

The following conditions may cause an intermittent malfunction:

•	A poor connection

•	Rubbed-through wire insulation

•	A broken wire inside the insulation

1	Was the Diagnostic System Check performed?	--	Go to Step 2	Go to A Diagnostic System Check - ABS
2	Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position. Install a scan tool. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, engine off. Use the scan tool in order to clear DTCs. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position. Turn the ignition switch to the START position. Does the undefined DTC or DTCs reset?	--	Go to Step 3	Go to Step 4
3	Replace the EBTCM. Refer to EBTCM Replacement . Is the repair complete?	--	Go to A Diagnostic System Check - ABS	--
4	Is the malfunction intermittent or not present at this time?	--	Go to Diagnostic Aids	--
